Sunflower Pocatello engagements are something as a Pocatello photographer I wish would last all year round. Why oh why does Pocatello, Idaho have to have such a short spring and fall season? It really makes us sad. When we first relocated back to Pocatello we had an amazing spring with thick fields of sunflowers. I was really hoping we would have amazing sunflowers this year, but we only got a scattering. Regardless, I had a great time up in the mountains with these two documenting their young and exciting love! Who doesn’t love a warm summers night, wild sunflowers, Pocatello mountains, and tangible love?!

Pocatello Mountains – Sunflower Pocatello Engagements

We have spectacular views in Pocatello. It’s one of my favorite things about Pocatello. Most of the time in order to get good views you need to be in southern Pocatello. I have multiple locations in that area so I took these two along with me! When I found out Madison’s flowers/theme was sunflowers I was excited because I knew I would be able to find some wild sunflowers somewhere!

Chopped Wood and Aspens

Okay, call me crazy but I love the look and texture of chopped wood in photographs. So when I see these pile of logs I will always put clients in front or around them. It’s just so fun! Another favorite look of mine is groves of aspens. When I lived in the Tennessee and Virginia people called them, “white pines”. There is something about the white striped bark, green leaves, and the rustling of their leaves. These are some of my favorite photos spring to fall. Because if you think they look amazing right now, just wait until fall. Bam, it looks amazing with the yellow and orange leaves!
