However, if you are planning an intimate elopement without a venue, then you can replace this step with hiring your wedding officiant or photographer first. If you have an officiant that you adore, reach out to them first. But, if your priorities lie with your wedding photography, then reach out to your photographer first for available dates, and then find an officiant that can make that day work.

Working with a wedding planner gives you access to their network and experience with local vendors. Offering you insider knowledge as you make big decisions for your big day! So, if you are wanting to hire a wedding planner, I advice you do it sooner rather than later. In the end a wedding planner will same you time and money while wedding planning.
