I love being an Idaho Photographer being able to shoot Sand Dune Engagements. Kyle and Taylor’s engagement session was so dreamy! Working with this couple was just meant to be. I hired Taylor on as an intern over the summer, and when she got engaged, the stars aligned just right for me to be the photographer. When Taylor expressed that they wanted sand dune engagements in Saint Anthony, Idaho I was super excited. It had been a hot minute since I have shot in that unique and beautiful setting.

This couple was absolutely set on having their engagements shot at the Saint Anthony sand dunes, and knew they would have views of straight-out-of-the-movies sand dunes, but what they didn’t know was that they would also have this incredibly beautiful greenery and brush!!

Having been a photographer for several years, I know all the secret locations and areas to get the shots of your dreams in beautiful Idaho!!

I had so much fun with this couple during this shoot!! Not only do I know all the perfect secret and unique spots to capture your photos, but I also have a bunch of poses and suggestions to make the shoot run smoothly and easily! My goals is to make everyone feel confident and comfortable!

We shot these photos in early September! Due to all the wildfires that were taking place at the time, the sky was real hazy! Although, I’d never wish for the fires, I’m able to make any climate work! All the smoke led to the sky being a really unique and beautiful pink color! Kyle and Taylor’s session reminded me a lot of Rhett and Ashtyn’s shoot done by my incredibly talented associate, Kendra.

Kyle and Taylor and I all spent their engagement session joking around, laughing, and dancing! We had so much fun together!

How it all began

Kyle and Taylor had the cutest love story! They met through a mutual friend and Kyle fell in love at first sight! For their first official date, Kyle cooked steak for dinner… that’s when Taylor knew he was serious! He was ready for a relationship right away, while Taylor wanted to take things more slow…

Kyle waited around, but he says it was definitely worth the wait! Just look at the way they look at each other! It is so apparent how much they love one another!!

Kyle and Taylor laugh so much together and it is so apparent that they are best friends. As a wedding and engagement photographer, it is so special for me to be able to capture couples in love! Their session reminded me a lot of my session Dallin and Maddie!

Love is always worth the wait. Stay tuned for their wedding in December!!
