Ready for PART TWO of this Colorful LaBelle Lake Reception? It could also be be called an Idaho Falls wedding photographer dream, but I’ll just show you why it was so amazing! If you missed out on part one of this wedding you can check it out HERE. So many things about the reception stood out to me. From the food, toasts, love story, games, dancing, and pictures. It was the perfect evening!

Colorful LaBelle Lake Reception

LaBelle Lake has a beautiful big tent that they set up protecting guest, cake ,and food from any sun, wind, rain, or snow! Because of the wind all the tabled were set up in side and it wasn’t too crowded! The food was delicious. It was catered by Catered Your Way by Dave. Even the kids meals looked amazing!

Toast to Love

The father of the bride gave such a beautiful toast, and I loved watching Allyson’s face as she heard her father express his love for her and how proud he was of her. Like I said in the first blog, you can tell that they have a special bond. You can tell that she was always his little shadow growing up. Later that night Allyson did things a little different and instead of tossing her bouquet, she said some tender and beautiful words and gave a bouquet to her mother, and mother in-law. Everyone was crying!

Paisley Cakes

You know I love Paisley Cakes. I love the owners, the pure talent they have, and most of all the taste! Do you know that I don’t like cake, expect for Paisley Cakes! Its amazing, and they do a lot of other sweet and treats besides cakes too. This mountain watercolor cake was amazing!

Reception Activities

One thing that makes Chris stand out from other DJ’s is his ability to adjust to the curve balls wedding throw at you. He has incredible talent of thinking fast on his feet, and accommodating the needs and wants of each couple. He has multiple games, and activities he does at wedding. One of our favorite is the Love Story he puts together. It makes everyone cry, laugh, awe, and clap at the end. It’s at that moment a lot of the guest go ,” wow, this guy is amazing”.

When I took Allyson and George away so we could get more footage and images of them, Chris started dancing lessons for the guests so that they could be more confident later on that night. How cool is that?! As you can tell, the formal images from that night did NOT disappoint!

Daddy Daughter Dance

This dance didn’t finish without a couple of tears. It was such a beautiful evening. You could just feel the love. It made me think of all the times Sean dances with our daughter in the kitchen. Im sure her dad felt like it was just yesterday he was dancing with his little red head with her sticky little fingers. Now he was dancing with a strong, beautiful, kind, and amazing bride. I gazed over to Sean, and we were both crying! What can I say, we love weddings!

The First Dance

Let’s just say everything was perfect as Allyson and George took to the dance floor. The sunset, the gathering of people who loved them, the music, and the surprise that Chris put together for them. In the middle of the song you heard the vows that they had just said hours before blended flawlessly into the music. Allyson was overcome with emotion, and at that point everyone else started crying too. It was such a beautiful moment!

Dancing the Night Away at LaBelle Lake

Want to know what also didn’t disappoint that night? The dance floor! Everyone was dancing and having a good time. If you know me, you know that Im not just an Idaho Falls photographer, but I am the dancing photographer. I LOVE getting out there with my couples and dancing. Am I a good dancer? Absolutely not, but do I care? Also no. Ha! Overall, I am committed to making the experience perfect for you. Sometimes having a person out there dancing like an idiot helps others get on the dance floor. I am more than happy to be that person for your wedding!

However, this wedding didn’t need me to warm out the floor. Everyone took it with stride and danced while the sunset glowed.
