April 20th, 2018 we drove to Spangle, WA to pick up this little bundle of joy! We have been researching breeders for years. When I found Silver Paw Cavaschons, I knew we found the right match! What is a cavachon? It is a mix between a bichon frise and a king cavalier charles spaniel. It was Sean’s favorite breed, and my favorite breed put together! Plus, cavachons have no to little shedding. That is a HUGE win in my book! The weeks leading up to the 20th were full of anxiety and excitement! It may sound silly, but I had no idea what to name the puppy. I had a list of 30 names that I LOVED. For months I had anxiety about the name. Then, the night before we left, we found the name Espen.
