Hey there! It’s Sadie your Rigby, Idaho Photographer for Winter Rigby Couples Session. My Father -in-law came to me before Christmas asking for a photoshoot of him and his wife. He wanted her to get her makeup done and hair and have the whole experience. Isn’t that the cutest?! His gift to her was being in the photos, WITHOUT complaining about it. Isn’t that the greatest gift of all? Husbands, take note!

If you know him, this is actually the sweetest thing. She has wanted a nice photo of just the two of them, and he went the extra mile to make sure she felt amazing with professional hair and makeup. However, when we tried to schedule it his wife didn’t believe him. But we convinced her and scheduled it for the week before Christmas. In idaho you never know what it will look like around Christmas, but we had great weather!

The Big Day – Winter Rigby Couples Session

She got the day off work, and we scheduled hair and makeup times for her to get dolled up by Nikki and we were ready to go that afternoon. First, we thought some photos in their backyard would be special since it means something to them. After all, they put in a lot of hard work in to it, and with all the fun memories spent there, it was great to capture a moment for them there. Next, we went to the boat dock to get a few more photos of the different location. Both share a love for the river, so we couldn’t go without a picture of them there. Our hands almost fell off from the cold weather and wind chill but I think it was worth it.
