Violet And James elopement/vow renewal at Grand Teton National Park

As a Grand Teton National Park elopement photographer I couldn’t wait to blog this! Violet and James have been married almost 20 years! I was so excited to take beautiful wedding pictures and their vow renewal at Grand Teton National Park. Grand Teton national park has the most beautiful and amazing views you can imagine. There’s no mountain range alike and one that you can feel so close to! 

Violet rented the most gorgeous ivory mid length dress from Tangled and Tulle in Idaho Falls. A v neck and thin drop straps covered in gems. James bought a new salmon colored lined suit to go with. James loves his suits and has multiple colors and styles and continues to add to his collection. Together they have 4 kids and lots of pets. 

Leigh Lake

Leigh lake has a perfect side view of the grand teton and a perfect reflection on a clear evening. Further down the trail covered in tall pines gives the perfect amount of shade to start shooting early and have beautiful forest views with a mountain or two peaking through at times. If you like to hike or take a long walk you can travel further around the lake where sandy beaches start to appear and the shallow water gives off a stunning reflection of the mountain range.  

Taggart Lake Trailhead

Taggart lake trailhead towards the front of the park gives a beautiful angled view of the mountains with wide open fields of sagebrush and wildflowers. We arrived here after the sun went down, but I always bring my lighting equipment and it really makes the Tetons stand out! There are numerous locations to elope in Grand Teton National Park, and every spot will amaze you with views that seem unreal. I will be posting another blog about my favorite location we used for this session, Schwabacher Landing! But, until then, enjoy these photos of Taggart lake trailhead!
