Throughout my time as a photographer in the area, I’ve gotten to know some of the best wedding venues in South East Idaho. I’ve been blessed to work with incredible couples capturing their love stories at some of these venues, and can’t wait to share why I love these spots below. While planning your South East Idaho wedding, take a look at some of my favorite wedding venues that will provide a warm and welcoming environment for guests to enjoy!

Millhouse Venue – Rigby

This historic venue was built in 1919 and renovated to be a wedding event center. First, the high ceilings and beautiful wood are so rustic, which would be incredible for your western chic wedding day. You can get married with the backdrop of the building, or have your whole day spent in the gorgeous interior. The outdoor area is only open from May to October, so if you’re considering an outdoor wedding, keep that in mind. However, they don’t offer set up and take down included, so you must pay an additional fee. 

Red Barn Events Center – Blackfoot

I captured Abby and Spencer’s wedding at the Red Barn Events Center, their day was an absolute dream! The ceremony was held outside and it was stunning! You’re surrounded by full grown trees but it has just the right amount of light for photos. The reception was done inside of the barn. There was plenty of space for the food and guests. In addition, the barn’s interior is almost all wood, creating a warm and cozy vibe for your South East Idaho wedding. If you only wanted to eat inside the barn, there’s a good sized patio for dancing.

The Barn on 1st  – Wedding Venues in South East Idaho

The Barn on 1st is another venue I have photographed a wedding at. Throughout my time as a wedding photographer, I’ve captured with incredible love stories, and Stetson and Shelby’s wedding, was just that, beautiful. Nevertheless, Stetson and Shelby got married at The Barn on 1st, and we had a blast! They were able to have both the ceremony as well as the reception inside of the barn. Throughout their event was an absolutely perfect transition, allowing things to flow perfectly. During the ceremony, it looked almost like a church’s interior minus the pews. And their tables and chairs are not like most wedding venues, they’re wooden and give off such a different ambience.  

The DEC – Idaho Falls

Next, consider the DEC for your dream East Idaho wedding day! This wedding venue. looks absolutely perfect for a wedding. They have wooden floors and a neutral toned brick lining the walls. Throughout this beautiful venue they can accommodate almost 400 people! Unfortunately, they only have 192 chairs, so take that into consideration when planning! There is a gorgeous two sided fireplace here as well. Although, they can even open up part of the building to overlook Park Avenue, providing even more opportunity for your big day.

Rose River Receptions – Wedding Venues in South East Idaho

Rose River Receptions is in Blackfoot and one of the most staggering wedding venues in South East Idaho. Next, this property and its the facilities are just spectacular! Throughout the large property there are tons of picture perfect spots to capture your dream day. Have your ceremony at the beautiful pond lined with stones. Later, take bridals at the bridge, talk about a romantic and dreamy spot! Their decor for the inside is mostly whites with greenery, which allows for a lot of flexibility while planning.
