This sunny Colter Bay Grand Teton elopement was absolutely gorgeous! The weather apps said it was going to be cloudy and that it would rain. As you can see there was none of that! As a Jackson Hole and Grand Teton elopement photographer this is something that never surprises me. After years of shooting in the park you realize that you have to be quick on your feet! Thankfully their friends and family were accommodating in letting me spin around them so I could get the best images. Tucker and Lydia had the perfect Grand Teton elopement at Colter Bay, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Keeping Details in Your Jackson Hole Elopement

What I loved about this wedding was all the little details. Their officiant Cindy Dahlin was phenomenal as always and gave a beautiful ceremony. She does such a great job at getting to know her couples and their story. They had these adorable little lunch bags that were customized for the special day. Lydia specifically wanted some photos with her parasols and the guys just couldn’t resist giving them a couple twirls too!

Oftentimes when couples elope they don’t know that they can still have traditional aspects. Lydia was walked down the trail by her father, and allowed for that first look moment. Tucker and Lydia also had groomsmen and bridesmaids. Not only that, but they stood in the ceremony line as well. With the sun making the water at Colter Bay sparkle it just felt magical. Colter bay is a ceremony location that is one of the farthest from the town of Jackson Hole. Depending on where you are leaving from, the time can be altered, but I would plan 90 minutes travel time to allow for driving, and finding parking. You never know if there will be a traffic jam due to wild animals, an accident, or people just driving 30mph.
