I am in love with his western cowgirl senior senior session in Rigby Idaho! Samantha is a doll and her dog is just too cute. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Samantha called me and said she was from Jackson Hole, WY, and wanted me to take some senior pictures for her after seeing her friend’s photos I took. I was so excited because I knew right off the bat that I would be shooting a western cowgirl senior session. You know, the things dreams are made of!

I was so excited! Talking to her I found out she knew my other senior through rodeo. Not only does she do rodeo through Jackson High school but also attends Idaho rodeo and competitions. If you know me, you know I LOVE horses and all things western. I was so excited to meet her and photograph her in the amazing fall colors!

When I met up with Samantha and her mom they had a bunch of dogs in their truck. If you know me, you know that I LOVE dogs! I asked if she was close with them, and told her that she should totally bring them along. The cutest mini Aussie got to tag along and have some sweet photos with her mama. 

Samantha came to Rigby for her session and had her hair and makeup done by the talented Trudi Day in Rigby. Trudi created long curls and a stunning natural look that make her blue eyes pop! Trudy does such a good job of making the makeup to the client and the look they are going for.

We went to one of my favorite locations for a country feel. The road we parked along is lined with old wood fences. These fences are perfect for those sitting on the fence shots. Hidden in a secluded area is long tall grass that gets golden in the fall. It looked so good with the outfit and cowboy hat! She also brought along some meaningful jewelry.

A Personalized ring with her initials and silver and turquoise earrings from her boyfriend. We love when you bring meaningful things to your session and of course encourage you to accessorize! While Samantha didn’t get bring her horses over she did bring her hat, buckles, and letterman jacket. We had a perfect evening for her senior shoot in a location with a country feel that fit her well.

I can’t even tell you how excited I was for her to bring out the belt buckle and hat!
