Zion & Kaylee | The Avenues Venue | Rexburg Wedding Photographer

Being a Rexburg wedding photographer you have to be ready for any kind of weather. Every time I shoot a Rexburg wedding the weather is always surprising! The forecast was for a warmish (you know, it’s still Rexburg) overcast day. What did we get? A warmish, BRIGHT and sunny, Rexburg wedding! These two ARE a bright and sunny couple, so I guess it was fitting!

These two met playing pick up basketball at BYU-I. Kaylee noticed how inclusive Zion was making sure everyone felt involved, but most of all he treated her as an equal on the court. At the same time, Zion was admiring her energy, happiness, and that she wasn’t afraid to leave her comfort zone! As a result, they still enjoy playing sports together and staying active. When I asked what word explains them as a couple they said, “Audacious”. Enough said!

Kaylee had the BEST idea ever! She had so many groups of people she wanted to put in her wedding party, so she organized them into groups with specific colors. It looked SO pretty! Zion with his groomsmen made me laugh and I knew he would be game for a throw in the air. However, I don’t think ANYONE anticipated how much air Zion would actually get! It shows off his custom suit nicely though!

Okay, there are a couple of things I love in this life and one of them is Crumbl cookies. As I walked into their reception at The Avenues I was met with boxes and boxes of Crumbl cookies. It was so beautiful I could cry!

By far the best part of the reception was when during their first dance their dance suddenly switched to country swing! What’s better? EVERYONE joined in! Grandparents and little ones got on the dance floor. I legit called Sean and told him we are taking country swing classes. It was SO MUCH FUN!

This wedding was SO much fun! Happy eternity Zion and Kaylee!
