Pocatello Wedding Photographer

Being a Pocatello Wedding Photographer I know some of the best locations! The Pocatello mountains are not as big as the Grand Tetons, but they are home to me. I love the open skies, the sagebrush, lava rock, and snow capped mountains!

Originally we planned to do the session in Jackson Hole but due to the snow we couldn’t make it into the park. I asked for Ashtyn to trust me that we could get some amazing photos in Pocatello, and I don’t mean to brag or anything …but boy did I deliver!

Cherry Springs

We first started off at Cherry Springs which gave us the shade that we needed due to there being no clouds in the sky. The lighting was so dreamy and creamy, and rats reaction was priceless! We stayed here for a bit before moving on to get some at Gibson Jack.

Gibson Jack

Gibson Jack is one of my favorite areas to get views that are a little more unique to the area. Because it was already smoky we had some fun lighting and haziness to work with. It was so fun to have Ashton sister Karli with us, who was also a pass bride of ours, come and help us with her veil. It’s really not as easy as it looks but Karli absolutely rocked it! After spending a short time I get some Jack we went ahead and went to Edson Fircher

Edson Fichter

Edson Fichter has it all! It has the water that has the trees that has the pathways… I really feel like that’s one of the best locations right all year round. And also gives us ask for us to knowing where the sun is right for our mountain location.

Lava Rock Location

As a Pocatello Wedding Photographer this lava rock sagebrush location is on my favorites, but you can only use it within the last 10 minutes Of the day. You don’t get it in the spring or winter, but summer- fall I get to capture amazing sunsets! 

The Pocatello Mountain‘s are a great place to experience amazing views, and two feel free to nature. There are still so many other places to explore, and so many places to shoot!
