As a Pocatello wedding photographer I know that finding an outdoor Pocatello wedding venue can be difficult. I want to let you know about a little secret venue not many know about. It’s the Mink Creek Group Site Campground.

Do you like the idea of being married in the shade of the trees? Dancing the night away on a 40×80 pavilion? Maybe even roasting some marshmallows and gazing up at the stars that look significantly bigger and brighter than in town? Well, then this is the venue for you! Not to mention, its under $100. Overall, you’re looking at spending $60 a day!

Outdoor Pocatello Wedding Venue – A Party

This private, and quiet location is perfect for a wedding and/or a reception! It has electricity, water, and bathrooms (like they have at parks) and so much parking! Every single wedding here is SO MUCH FUN! I highly recommend you have a live band or a DJ at this location. You are sure to dance the night away!

Getting Ready

Where do you get ready?! Great question! You can bring an RV or set up a big tent. Being a photographer in Jackson Hole this is something that is quite common. Nevertheless, unforgettable Moments will be able to jazz up any space if needed! You can find beautiful walk in tents set up for “glamping”. These used for brides getting ready before the ceremony or for kiddos to take a mid day nap. It’s such a fun idea.

Ceremony Locations

Overall, the location of your ceremony is limitless. I love it when couples set everything up against the trees. It makes for beautiful photos. Overall, it gives the perfect and desired look of being married in the woods. Other options are in the large grassy areas or even in the pavilion.

Facilities

This outdoor pocatello wedding venue can accommodate 200 people. As mentioned above, it has a large concrete pavilion, electricity, water, bathrooms, ample parking, 12 large picnic tables, and much more. Remember, this facility doesn’t have garbage. Good news is, the dump is on that side of town. That isn’t too much of a burden considering its only not more than 10 minutes from town. Check in time is 2pm and checkout is the following day at noon.

Scenery

The venue is visible from the road. Yet, it is hidden and tucked away. The venue is on a private road that is locked unless there is a reservation. The turn for the driveway is hard to see if you don’t know where it is. For sure put out some signs or even balloons to let your guest know where to turn. You will find large pines, a huge grassy area, and a big fire pit to fill the darkness with that all familiar camp fire glow.
