Being a Pocatello photographer I can tell you the trickiest months to get married are April and May. It will either be a beautiful, warm, and spring day. Or, you will be met with the force of hail, rain, wind, blizzards, and maybe even some inches of snow! Yet, nothing can stop love! Pocatello LDS Temple

I was so excited when my books started filling up with weddings at the Pocatello LDS Temple. It is such a beautiful temple. However, I have to say the lighting there is just crazy! I really wish they would have turned the temple or something, because its difficult in the morning and evening. It’s nothing that scares us though. We always learn to adjust and conquer any location. It’s part of the game, and we love playing.

The Beauty of Wind

Wind is awful, but it is also beautiful! I love how it gives a whimsical look to photos. While hair blowing in all directions can be annoying I also find it playful and flirty. Anyone else? No? Okay, maybe it’s only me, but I loved it! Overall, the biggest benefit of wind is that your couples will cuddle up more naturally. Because, they are actually cold.

No Red Noses-Chilly Pocatello Temple Bridals

Once my clients start getting drippy red noses it’s time to jump into the car and warm up! Plus, no one like kissing someone with a drippy nose. Gross! After a good 15 minute warm up session we jumped out and finished up the session.

Sometimes within a time crunch the day/weather isn’t going to be what you want it to be, but life isn’t always butterflies and rainbows. While that isn’t ideal for us, we will do the best that we can. Overall we will capture your love story. After all, that is the most important thing!
