Try On Non-Traditional Wedding Attire for Size

Who says that as a bride you have to wear a plain white wedding gown? Swap that out for a patterned dress instead. Another idea is to not even go with a gown at all. Instead, maybe you wear a gorgeous white pantsuit. Or if you’re looking for a unique veil option, consider a hat or you could try a bridal cap with a birdcage veil!

Non Traditional Wedding Ideas Include – Skip That Fancy Food

You don’t need to go out somewhere fancy after your adventure elopement. There are so many options that can incorporate who you are as a couple into your wedding photos. Who doesn’t love a good slice of pizza? Opt for your favorite pizza place instead of the expensive restaurant. Better yet, sneak into your favorite fast food restaurant for a photo op! Imagine wearing your wedding suit and bridal gown at Chick-Fil-A right after your elopement ceremony. Priceless.

A Non Traditional Wedding Cake Idea

If you’re looking to really make your Grand Teton elopement unique, skip the cake! One of my favorite non-traditional wedding ideas is when couples opt for their favorite dessert instead of cake. It’s a great way to make the event much more unique and special to their relationship. Order a colorful wedding cake instead of a cake that is mostly white frosting. You know what will truly make people gasp? Try a cheese cake instead. No, not what you’re thinking, a literal cake made of cheese.

Show off Your Pet – Non-Traditional Wedding Ideas

Next on the list of non-traditional wedding ideas, include those fur babies! Do you have an adorable golden retriever that is your whole world? We need to get some wedding photos with the whole family. Bring your fur baby to your elopement and we can make sure your photogenic pup is the star of the show. Well, at least for a few of the pictures!

An Entrance Made for a King and Queen 

If you decide to have a little party after your elopement ceremony, don’t just walk into it, but arrive! Make an entrance that no one will forget. One idea is you could do a flash mob. Coordinate with the DJ and have them create a light show for your entrance. Ride to the after party in a vintage car with the guests waiting outside the venue and walk in first. One of you could wear a fun mask that has meaning to you as a couple.
