Idaho Falls Barn Venue

The Barn on 1st is located in town and is easy to find. The parking is ample and there is an elevator for vendors or guest that need help.There is an upstairs, downstairs, and outside area. The upstairs is most commonly used for the ceremony and festivities, and the downstairs is most commonly used for the food and such. Outside you have a beautiful grassy area with a arbor that is easily jazzed up with flowers or any other kind of decoration you want.

My favorite things about photographing events at the barn on 1st is the amount of windows that allows for beautiful lighting. I also love the colors! Because of the colors of the floors and walls we get beautiful rich and vibrant colors from every event. I love take pictures of the bride and groom on the stairs leading into the upstairs of the barn. 

Wedding Day Drama

On my way to the venue I got a call from Megan asking if I have left Pocatello yet. Someone had forgotten the sparklers needed for her grand exit. I turned around and got them. It pushed things back a bit, but everyone was able to accommodate the change. Sean asked if I was going to make it in time. I responded,” I’m the photographer so they will probably wait for me haha”. I gotta say though, if this is the drama you have on your wedding day- you’re doing great!

Barn on 1st Wedding Ceremony

Megan and Ryan decided to have a beautiful ring ceremony for their family and friends that couldn’t attend their temple sealing. The barn on first has a beautiful outdoor area, so when the weather is nice it’s the perfect place to have a ceremony. What the weather isn’t good you can have a beautiful ceremony inside! This ring ceremony was super sweet, and I love how Megan was so excited the entire time. Wildfire Dj was there so of course everything ran smoothly for the ceremony and reception (blog to come).
