As a Jackson Hole wedding photographer, I have been blessed with working with some of the most incredible people. Oftentimes we are lucky enough to meet from the very beginning right after the proposal. Throughout their wedding planning journey we get to know one another well, and I can even help with the planning. We’ll take engagement photos and help you truly enjoy this short season of engagement life. After we’ve shot the engagement photos, where else will you use them besides your wedding invitations? We’re going to talk about my four favorite ways to use your engagement photos in your Jackson Hole wedding!
While wedding planning, consider printing out some of your favorite engagement photos to use as centerpieces. I love when couples have pictures of them throughout their relationship as centerpieces. It’s a great way to show growth, and give your guests another view of the two of you through your love story. Displaying these images as centerpieces, or printing them as fans to be used during a hot summer wedding is just another way to repurpose your beautiful pictures.
As a wedding photographer, I’m always a sucker for pictures, the more, the better! If you’re considering getting them printed, reach out to me for suggestions on the best places to get them printed. Oftentimes places like Walgreens or Costco can’t do the images justice. – reach out and order through me!
Consider designing a guest book with your photographer! Another simple way to display your engagement photos while giving you both an excuse to look at them for years to come. Jackson Hole wedding photographers such as myself help couples design guest books, and wedding albums all the time! It’s a perfect way to get the best of both worlds – beautifully printed images and messages from your loved ones. Set up a small station at your wedding reception with fine-tip sharpies, your guest book and maybe a polaroid camera! Guests will be able to leave you a message in your book while taking pictures and having fun.
This may be one of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer, I get to play a small role in your future home decor too! We can sit down together and figure out the best size prints, and canvas’ to order to decorate your home. Printing out large images is another easy wedding decoration. Not only are these a great way to use your engagement photos in your Jackson Hole wedding, but also repurpose them in your home! Whether you choose to set up a collage of images from throughout your relationship, or simple have a canvas up for guests to sign, it can be displayed for years in your home together.
Lastly, don’t be afraid to use your engagement photos in your thank you cards. It’s a personal touch that allows guests to see those images one more time and you won’t have to worry about designing anything after the wedding. After you get married, life returns to normal and thank you cards can fall to the wayside. Having them printed and designed prior to the wedding allows you to write them as you open your gifts! This allows you to get them out of the way quickly and not forget about showing gratitude to the people who supported you along the way.
I hope this helps make wedding planning that much easier and enjoyable. Your engagement photos deserve their moment in the spotlight! Don’t be afraid to use your engagement photos in your Jackson Hole wedding!
