I love being a spring Grand Teton National Park Wedding photographer. Photographing weddings, families, and in this case, bridals is my most favorite thing to do! There are endless possibilities on locations inside Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding areas in Moose, WY and Jackson Hole, WY. I am going to apologize right off the bat and tell you this blog has A LOT of image. You have been warned!

The Grand Tetons

From American Indians, French-Canadian trappers who thought the mountains looked like “Big Breasts“, ranchers, and eventual a national park the Tetons have a lot of history! Unknown to many, Jackson Hole is a good 20-30 minutes from the park entrance! So, if you are flying into Jackson Hole Airport you will need to rent a car to get to and from the park.

Why get married in Grand Teton National Park? The answer is, Why not? There is a reason why the area is flooded with people from all over the WORLD. It is simply majestic. Growing up around mountain ranges my whole life, there is something about them that makes me feel safe. You feel their power, their history, and they are pretty in every season during the year.

The Couple

Bonnie is a cousin of a past bride of ours, and wanted her bridal session to be in the Tetons. Obviously I jumped at the opportunity and got everything planned out! We were shooting in Grand Teton National Park when the roads opened up, but there was still some snow. Dakota hurt himself and was on crutches and I tell you what- he was a total trooper! I still can’t believe how much he did.

While shooting it was apparent that these two were so giddy and genuine! There are a lot of photos of them laughing, because that is who they are as a couple! They are FUN. Constantly looking for an adventure Bonnie and Dakota are always rock climbing, kayaking, canyoneering, and other insanely cool activities.
