Timing is Everything- Golden Falls Bridals

Have you ever wondered why photographers like shooting an hour or two before sunset? It’s because of “golden hour” during this time colors are rich, vibrant, and creamy! This session is the perfect example of a summertime golden hour session. There is just something about that time of night + a beautiful session with amazing people that fills my soul.

Why Bridals are Important

A bridal session is a session where the couple gets photos taken of them in their wedding attire weeks before or after their wedding. When talking to brides I try to express the importance of bridals. It’s not that I am trying to sell you on another session. I genuinely believer they are so important. Your wedding day is important, and there are factors that you cannot control.

Weather

Weather is one of the trickiest things in Idaho. If the weather is bad on your wedding day we push through it. If weather is bad on the day of your bridals- we will try to reschedule. Plus we can adventure into mountains, sand dunes, rivers, or whatever location you would like in your wedding attire.

First Look

Doing a first look is super popular and a great reason to do bridals as well. A first look is a very intimate moment. There is a lot of pressure on the groom or partner waiting to see the love of their life. In a first look a bride gets to reveal her dress. It’s such a fun moment to capture. Don’t think it takes away from the wedding day. I don’t think it does, but I understand when people want to keep it more traditional. For this reason we can do bridals before or after the wedding. The plus side of doing them before hand is that you can have pictures at your reception.
