Being a Jackson Hole wedding photographer I have a couple favorite locations, this fall engagement session was such a fun one. One of my favorite locations in Rigby is so fun for Rigby senior photography, Rigby family photography, and you guessed it- Rigby wedding photography! In this blog I will share with you why I love it so much. First, we will talk about how it changes in every season. Second, we will talk about the river. Third, we will talk about the location.

Changing Seasons – Fall Engagement Session

This location is constantly evolving and changing during every season. Although it is closed in the wintertime, you can usually shoot there during all 4 seasons. Summer and fall are my favorite times to shoot there because of the leaves and where tress are positioned with the sun. This fall engagement session was so fun with the warm colors. When the sun shines through those leave. Yummy colorful magic happens! Because of all the trees it’s also one of the hottest locations for photographers come fall time. Don’t believe me? I have been there when there were over 20 photographers! While I love this location, its not worth it if its full of other people. Luckily for us this session was quiet and perfect!

The River- Fall Engagement Session

Being a Country Idaho Falls Photographer I tend to shoot around a lot of water, but this curving river is just so beautiful – especially when you can access it. During the spring and early summer the water is just too high and fast. It can be quite dangerous. However, in late summer and fall the water is sometimes low enough you can get out into the water more. It’s not something you get to do often, so if I have the opportunity to shoot with water I am going to do it. Plus I love water! I am totally a fish and love swimming and playing in water all summer long.

Location

Where is this fall engagement session location? It’s a campground. Now hear me out, its a big campground and it’s beautiful! It’s called Twin Bridges. It’s technically in Ririe, but super close to Rigby and it’s the perfect location between Idaho Falls and Rexburg, Idaho. I should try to go camping there, but I’m there so much. Sometimes it feels like I live there!
