Today is a bittersweet day. Today I am reminded of how incredibly blessed we are. I am reminded of our heartache and joy. My heart smiles I watch her take her nap.

If your not familiar with our story let me give you a little run down. Emmy was our 6th pregnancy. After 5 losses, crazy amounts of money and faith, blessings, and anxiety we were able to find out what we needed to do to STAY pregnant. That included giving myself 2 shots a day.

To be honest I never thought I would be here. At times it seemed having a baby was a blessing for everyone else but us. To say I suffered from crippling anxiety is an understatement. However I had so much support from family, friends, and my AMAZING clients! We decided to keep the sex of the baby a surprise, I thought it was a boy and Sean a girl!

Emmy loves her daddy, Frozen, Moana, Tangled, berries, veggies, chicken nuggets, steak, and shrimp. She plays with her puppies and they tolerate her. She is a good sleeper, but wakes up at 3 am to snuggle in our bed before daddy has to leave. She is such a happy soul and is a very social baby. Costco is her favorite store (samples and people), and she’s a light weight at 17lbs! Don’t be fooled by her size. Theres a lot of personality in her small shell!

We fought hard physically, emotionally, and physically for this baby and she is literally JOY. I feel unbelievably blessed to be her mama! Check out this video I made with some of our memories!
