As a Pocatello photographer I have the opportunity to work with incredible venues, and the Veterans Memorial Building is one of them. The Veterans Memorial Building located in Downtown Pocatello. You may recognize these two from their windy Pocatello Temple bridals, but check out this Pocatello indoor Veterans Memorial Building. This venue has a lot to offer, especially with the grand ballroom ready for your wedding or reception.

Windy and Cold Pocatello Temple Sealing

These two just couldn’t escape a session that wasn’t cold. I had a wedding the day before their wedding and it was 75 degrees and I got sunburned. The next day it was like 30 degrees with high winds. It was so cold! That’s Pocatello Idaho for ya! It didn’t prevent us from getting some beautiful shots on the Temple grounds.

Veterans Memorial Building

After the Temple we went to the Veterans Memorial Building for a ring ceremony and reception. The bride has a huge extended family and it was so fun with all the little kids and babies running around. I loved her grandparents and I was grateful for the opportunity being able to capture and document their love as well. There is something about that old seasoned love that just makes my heart swell.

The Ballroom

The ballroom at this venue is big and has a kitchen off of the side. The kitchen is perfect for preparing and serving food and drinks. With two doors on each side there is natural flow for people to enter and exit. There is a lot of natural light and the white walls and ceilings that create the perfect color balance for the camera. It really is a beautiful venue. The only downside to this venue is by far the parking. However, you will find that issue with almost all venues in a downtown area.
