Being a Pocatello wedding Photographer there are a lot of beautiful venues to chose from. If you are looking for a wedding venue in SE Idaho I want to show you one of our weddings at Blackfoot, Idaho Wedding Venue Red Barn Events. First of all the owners are amazing people. They go above and beyond to help their couples have the perfect wedding.

Abby and Spencer had a heartfelt ring ceremony outside the barn with one of my favorite trees as the backdrop. It was small, intimate, and beautiful. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Red Barn History

Did you know that the barn was moved piece by piece from Idaho Falls in about 1980?  True story.  At that time, the current owner was about 11 years old and remembers the many trips to Idaho Falls with his father to pick up parts of the barn and transport them to its current location where it was reassembled board by board. The original barn was built before World War 1 in about 1910. The barn has held many animals over the years including up to 9 horses at one time and, until just recently, pigs.

This ring ceremony and reception was so chill and amazing! It was truly all about the couple and those who love them! It had that small town feel as people of all ages came to congratulate the couple on their union and share stories of their own love.

Inside the Blackfoot Wedding Venue Red Barn Events

Inside the barn you find beautiful wood walls and ceilings. One thing this venue has is a nice big kitchen! It’s something missing in a lot of venues here in SE Idaho. The bridal room is one of my favorite rooms. It has a huge mirror with counter. Sometimes bridal rooms are too small for the bride and all the bridesmaids PLUS the photographer, but we have never had an issue at the Red Barn Events.

The grounds of the Red Barn are gorgeous! There are open areas, mature trees, and multiple locations for a ceremony if you want an outdoor ceremony. There is also a patio perfect for dancing and soaking in the beautiful sunsets they get out in the country.
